The Tabet family has been in the textile business for 105 years. In 1905, the founder Georges Tabet began importing home linen and textile material, which he sold in a small shop in Souk Ayyass in downtown Beirut. With the First World War putting an end to his imports Tabet decided to manufacture textiles in a factory set up within his shop.
